BC246T

So I'm keeping it.

I am getting to know the 246T and I like it. I have a question. I have the
Priority feature turned off. Yet when I listen to a channel, there is a
quick interruption every two seconds of dead air. Like on my RS scanners
when I have the Priority channel selected, where the scanner skips back to
another freq for a second. But on the 246T I don't have it set up that was
(AFAIK).

Any suggestions?

Thanks

You have the "Close Call" detection turned on. Go into the menu and
turn it off.

Thanks, but I've got it turned off completely as well.

I took a bit different tact, I found some free clone software with an
original load file, so I just regenerated the system. by then i had
completely screwed it up anyway. It started out like it was brand new
when I reloaded it, so i can screw it up again....
