Yaesu VR-120D DC input and other newbie questions

Greetings

Does anyone have the technical specs of what the DC input requirement
is for the VR-120? The manual suggests the DC input is between 5.5V
and 10 however the tip polarity is not listed. Also what size is the
actual DC input jack considered? It's pretty tiny with a tiny pin
centre. Is it relatively generic or proprietry?.

Also does anyone know if it's possible to pick up and decode some of
those digital carrier signals with this scanner and if so how?

Thanks peeps.

DLT.
