Default keypad connector on Pro-2052

Hello, name here is Sean.

I own a Pro-2052 and the white keypad [female] to the main ckt board [male]
connector is experiencing a short.

I would like to find an exact connector and re-strip the wires and re-insert
new contact terminals inside the connector. These are the connectors that
slide right down on to their point of connection. i.e. similiar to ribbon
cable type connectors seen in computers, only much smaller.

I noticed the other day that I had no keypad response when selecting a
function. My scanner works and has power going to it.

This should be an easy fix rather than sending it to radio shack.

Any help is welcome.

Sean
