It is Tues, 1:30am EDT (0530z).
Preparations are underway for the arrival and landing of STS-114.
After providing weather observations from over the Cape, Kent
Rominger has landed T-38N "NASA 913." Next acft up will probably be
one of the STAs, most likely "NASA 945."
Comms between Rominger and the ground were heard on 126.65. He noted
no significant weather in the area immediate to the Shuttle Landing
Facility, only extremely thin cirrus. Traveling further away he
reported a thunderstorm and some other activity that he said bears
watching. He was up at 42,000 feet and should have been heard by
monitors at great distance from the Cape.
