pound box could qualify for media mail, which is basically for individual
cds/dvds and books with no advertisements.

They seem to want periodicals/magazines to go by the printed bound matter
rate. it is almost the same rate as media mail.

Media rate has nothing to do with individual cds/dvds and books. Yes it
does say not for advertising and the weight limit is 70 lbs. Rate is based
on weight. I suspect media rate in this case would be ruled proper by the
post office.

My book club supscriptions come with multiple boks in the box
and have flyers advertising other materials included. I doubt Scott's
prescription applies.
