BCD396T Faceplate Fixed?
 

Does anyone know if Uniden has resolved its faceplate lettering issue? If
so, are there any known retailers that sell the corrected version? Tnx es...

Hi back neighbor,

Tnx for the info. I have a PRO-96 and it's served me pretty well but
you know how it is... hihi

Glad to hear that Uniden did the right thing. While I'm fortunate
enough that I don't much bristle at a $500+ rig purchase, the faceplate
issue should just plain not have been present on a $500+ scanner. Hmm,
Christmas is coming up soon... I'd better start dropping the hints to
Santa Spouse. (...& Ten-Tec's just released their Orion II!)

A few of them didn't get clear-coated. Things happen.
