FS: HP-2000 Full Coverage handheld
 

For sale - Fairmate HP-2000 [AOR-1000 clone] hand held scanner.
Recieves from 2-1300 MHZ, no gaps [was purchased before the cell block].
Has 1000 channels, 10 search banks, 10 scan banks.
Selectable user steps, selectable modes AM/FM/WFM [no SSB].
Unit has some light surface scratches, and is in tip top working order.
The only flaw worth mentioning is the anntenna connector [BNC] is slightly
loose - Not much of a problem if you don't plan on changing antennas
frequently, and in any case its a matter of popping open the case and
tightening a nut.
Runs on 4 AA batteries, and comes with protective leather/plastic jacket, AV
power plug, instructions and a carrying strap.
Note - I installed a new keypad a couple years ago, as the stock one went
bad, as keypads all eventually do, so this keypad should be good to go for
quite some time. I anticipated at the time I found this one that it would be
very hard to find another one when and if I ever needed one, so included also
in another brand new keypad, ready to install when/if needed.
