Scanners do not do very well on CB. One reason is, that if the scanner
covers the CB frequencies at all, it is at the very low-end of the scanners capabilities, so performance is not optimal. Another issue is that none of the scanners come with antennas that are anywhere near being the proper length for CB frequencies. You would be better off just buying an inexpensive CB.
