The PRO-2096 digital scanner re-appeared on Radio Shack's web site
today...just as mysteriously as it disappeared a few days ago. Go figure?

When I was talking to The RADIO SHACK Tech About the pro 2096 Not
working correctly .( last Friday) I mentioned that the pro 2096 was off
the WEBSITE and SHe said all her records State it is AN ACTIVE product.

I will be taking my pro 2096 Back tomorrow Morning 01/12/06 since I
cannot Get it to Recieve a Signal That ISNOT all Broken up ..
More in likely one of the REASONS RADIO shack has them Back in Stock again.

I talked to a local Policeman today and I listen to his Radio and There
WAS NO CHOPPIENESS .. Signal was Clear No Breaking up!!
So it Has to be a DEFECT in the FIRMWARE that Radio Shack HAS NOT
updated for The DETROIT/Genesee County , Mi AREA


$499.00 is Too much money to Sit and Wait For Radio Shack to offer an
updated Firmware At Radio Shacks Convience.
