Icom R10 opinions

I'm considering buying a used one. I've currently been using a PRO-43 and
BC780XLT. How does the R10 compare on VHF/UHF when it comes to sensitivity,
selectivity, dynamic range, and intermod rejection? What can I expect for HF
SSB utililities?

The Icom IC-R10 is "ok", nothing exceptional. It's an older design. If
you're going for that type of radio, I'd spend a little more and get the
Icom IC-R20. The scan speed on the R10 is very slow!

Be advised these types of radios are much more difficult, and confusing to
operate than the scanner radios you've been used to. They have a lot of
dual, and sometimes triple function buttons, and it's a whole new learning
process that leaves everyday operation depending on your good(?) memory!
