Well I have 4 in stock at my store. And RS.com will pull am item now if it
is expected to be out of stock for more than a few days. Oh I do work for RadioShack and I am a ham. My staff and I do know what we are talking about, but with the change of focus moving away from do it yourselfers, RS is changing also. I grew up in the Boston area and had a ton of parts shops around they all closed over a decade ago because most people do not do it themselves anymore. So RS has been and is changing with the times. They have been doing it since there inception in Boston many many years ago. If you want speciality parts go online to mouser, fry's and the others that have filled the vacuum. As for scanners well unfortuanately even the digital ones are never 100% on because of many reasons. 73 KB1HUP Dave "Dan" wrote in message ... Why actually "pull" the item from the website? Why not simply show it as "Out of Stock"? (As they currently do for the Pro-2096) -Dan |
