If they're bent that bad, it probably cracked the main board too!
Bill Crocker wrote in message oups.com... Something hit the volume/squelch control and bent it about 15 degrees off vertical. Although the volume and squelch movement are locked together, the unit works OK. There is no other damage showing except for the bent control. The volume/squelch unit needs to be replaced. I am reaching out for guidance because I don't have much faith in the technical competence of the local stores. Of course I expect to pay for the repairs. Thank you, Stan Hanna |
