most impressive looking shortwave portable

I was listening in the backyard to my modified Panasonic RF-2800 this
evening and thinking how impressive the 2800/2900 looks (as I usually think
when I look at them) and was wondering what other people think is the most
impressive portable they have ever seen or used?????????
Is there a set more impressive looking ??? I can't think of one but want to
hear from everyone with a REAL opinion.....

I have 3 shortwave portables;

Doing some DX'ing here in NYC, Down By De Ribah, on a Hot Summers day;

Looking at the Degen DE1105 I took with me on this trip

& yes, thinking what an impressive looking portable it is;

- Shirt pocklet sized,
- brushed aluminum finish
- Signal strenght meter

- Thermometer . . .

Modified by hooking up a 7 foot external antenna to the whip

Take it just about anywhere without breaking a sweat.

Your mileage may vary

Enjoy Summer !

Looks? Looks aren't everything.How about a 1938 Scott radio compared to
any brand new (Looks) radio today? How about a 1938 Buick two door coupe
car (Looks) compared to a new 2006 or 2007 Buick car.Considering
Looks,which do y'all think Looks better? I know.Do you?
