Hi everyone,

Okay, I decided I wanted to get into shortwave listening (after hearing
an NPR report on numbers stations). I'm primarily interested in
listening to major broadcasts (BBC, VOA, VOR, VOK, Radio Netherlands,
etc.) and maybe the occasional numbers station, if I can find one.

[snip]

Ever get to hear one of the numbers stations yet? They can be quite
interesting.
I caught one maybe 15 years ago that had what sounded like hungarian
music
in the background (I've a tape of it somewhere...).

Anyway, here's a website that can assist with these and other
clandestine broadcasts:

I think that station was called the "Mad Fiddler". All the transmissions
ended with "Terminat" repeated 3 times. I have it on tape somewhere; it
was a hoot to receive.
