Well, I just have two comments.

1) If the nukes start flying, I think that whether the GPS or the F Layer
still work will be the least of our worries..
indeed since GPS might be used to guide the weapons we might all be
happier if it did not work
2) It would certainly solve the problem of nighttime IBOC interference..


Unless all MW stations had switched to IBOC by the time the nukes went
flying ;-)
