Selecting new radio
 

I have/had a Sangean ATS 505 for several years. It quit working tonight.
I was quite satisfied with its performance, features, and
capabilities. The only minor compliant is the readability of the
display. Unless viewed straight on, the display is difficult to read
and the led back light just adds glare and little help. Can anyone
suggest a replacement for this radio (make/models)? I would like
something in the $75-200 price range.

There was a site I used to read that discussed receivers, scanners,
antennas, etc. They also did technicial tests and reviews of various
items. They also had several forums on a number of subjects. Does
anyone know of this site and if it is still going?
