Default Indoor Loop antenna

I found some 6 wire conductor phone cable at the 99cent store. I
plan to run it around the ceiling in the radio room for a total of 40'
then connect the ends to a RG 58 coax. Here is my question. Is it worth
the time to connect all six wires in series or just go with one? I have
read that multiple turns in the loop will lower the resonating
frequency while others say it's a waste of time with a horizontal loop
antenna. Does anybody have any insight on this.

Thanks
