So... What's In The Buzz - The Yellow Jacket 100' UltimateShor...
Yesterday morning,my old buddy came over here to help me put my new
Toshiba 27 inch flat screen CRT tv set back in the carboard box and in my raggity old 1978 lonnnnnggg wheelbase Dodge van.We went to the store and I traded that Toshiba plus $32.10 for a new Sony Wega Trinitron 27 inch screen CRT tv set..(the Toshiba was defective,a little blob on the lower left hand corner of the screen) On my new Sony tv set, some big words says,SONY Initial Setup.First please connect cable/antenna.Auto Program [CH+] Exit [CH-] I can't get them words off of my Sony's screen. The only signal/antenna input I have on there is my DirecTV's satellite input cable.Yesterday,I phoned DirecTV's toll free phone number.A sh.thead said there would be a DirecTV service person over here today between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.He never showed up here yet.About forty five minutes ago,I phoned DirecTV's toll free number again. That shi.head told me there will be a DirecTV service person over here this evening before or at about 7:00 PM. Damn bunch of Liars DirecTV SUCKS s.itheads! Thirty five minutes before 7:00 PM here. cuhulin |

This will soon be a moot point as Radio Shack has just announced on their website that they are closing their Canadian business at the end of January 2007 in order to "concentrate on their core business in the U.S." Sales begin on Dec 6. http://www.radio shack.ca |

Brian - As you probably know, every part of the lead-in that isn't coax, - is still antenna. - - - PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EBAY AUCTION IS OVER - - - But as always - the 'fun' continues . . . BpnJ - Yeah But ! - "The Yellow Jacket is a 100' THHN #12 Copper With a Sunlight UV Resistant Inner Jacket and PCV Outter Jacket." ( { [ It's really, Really. REALLY ! Insulated ] } ) PLUS - Static Protection is Incorporated Right At The Feed Point, {Note} The Receiiver MUST BE EARTH GROUNDED For The Protection Circuit To Work Properly. WHAT ? - HOW THE STATIC PROTECTION CIRCUIT WORKS: A 10,000 volt DC Blocking Cap is In-Line Which STOPS DC Static From Reaching The Receiver. A Bleed-Off Resistor Takes The Static Build-Up Safely To Ground, BUT in The Event The Build-Up is Faster Then The Resistor Can Bleed It Off, A 90 Volt Fast Acting Flash Tube Kicks-In And Pulls The Antenna Instantly To Ground. The DC Blocking Cap Can Withstand 10,000 Volts, But The Flash Tube Will Never Allow The Charge On The Antenna To Exceede 90 Volts, So There Is Plenty Of Head Room! OBTW - Not mentioned in the in the description is the fact that the Antenna's lead-in-wire is "Black" {Can we say "Stealth"} - - - This could be the same type of Black-Wire used in those famous Black Helocopters by the mysterious MIB. THE FINAL WORD{S} - "This Is Not A Toy!" and that ought to count for something :o) - iane ~ RHF |
