I once borrowed one of these radios from a friend when I went on vacation. I
was very impressed with the performance. The only improvement would be a
tuning knob! Anyone know if these radios are still available? I havent seen
any secondhand ones around.

One of the smaller 'portable' AM/FM Shortwave Radios.
