I hooked up my new Sangean HDR-1 last night
 

Could you tell me what area you live in? I wasn't aware any city in the
USA had that
many HD station. I live in a major metropolitan area (St. Louis) and
there are only
about 5 or 6 HD stations. I'm curious. Enlighten me. David N......Also
which HD radio are you using?

HD Radio is just a blip-on-the-screen ! Only, a few tens-of-thousands
receivers have been sold - there is no consumer interest, in this farseJust a blip on the screen? I receive over 20 HD stations in my area
alone! Many of these stations simulcast more than one station. It is
a great pleasure owning a radio capable of picking up digital as well
as analogue signals.

channel, for that matter) interference. You may be thinking that it doesn't
RECEIVE adjacent channel, but I'm sure that even under some conditions, that
could also be the case, but it definately CAUSES interference to adjacent
and second adjacent analog signals, as has been demonstated in the field
many times now.

I live in the DC area. There are 21 HD FM stations some of which
multicast. I get 19 clearly. There are 2 HD AM stations, both of which
I get. I use the telescopic FM antenna and the Select-A-Tenna AM
antenna. However, the included AM loop antenna works pretty good by
itself.

you use, which antenna, how many HD stations in your area, also what
area you're in?
Could you direct me to a website that has a current list of USA HD
FM stations?

I've been using the Sangean HD-1 the sound quality is good,on fm and
am.I live in columbus ohio area ,we have a few hd radio station most of
them are on fm,only 2 for am. Now on my analog radio 1230am at night
drifts, it low power station,but on Sangean it comes in great . of
course,i notice the station in hd during the day,at night it's not. the
only complaint i have is there a switch for news & music- is placed on
the rear of the radio,it's hard to get to,it should on the front. also
the internal clock loses time,all the time.the sound quality sounds
