I own a pair of Midland LXT300 GMRS radios, the package says it has an
average range of 10 miles under good conditions. I have heard that the range of GMRS radios is often exaggerated, can anybody shead any light on this? thx in advance |

I believe the 10 mile range is, if you are using them over water ( lake or
ocean, etc ), under ideal atmospheric conditions ( no storms, snow etc ) using new batterys fully charged. wrote in message oups.com...
