Can the Midland LXT300 be used with a repeater if so what channels
should I set it to to use a repeater? thx in advance

No it will not according to the spec sheet and manual on the Midland
website. I have yet to see a "bubble pack" GMRS radio that would. The
exception was one obscure Motorola model that is no longer available.
