A blogger (spockosbrain.com) has been recording some of the more
dubious sound bites from conservative hot talk station KSFO in San Francisco and been posting them and bringing them to the attention of advertisers some of which have pulled their ads. Disney's lawyers screamed "copyright violation" and took down the website but, of course, the sound bites have now spread. Some of the sound bites mention torturing people with by attaching a battery to the testicles or shooting people although at least in the version I heard (which had such music as "when you wish upon a star" in the background) it sounded like the sort of sophmoric jokes one hears on the "morning zoo" type program. .. Maybe if they had access to the Vin "San Fils" (wireless) served at the BBC canteen rather than the Thunderbird and Old English Malt Liquor which seems to inspire jokes at these stations they could come out with better jokes. -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |
