What in your opinion is the most underestimated receiver around?

That's tricky... Anything that's halfway good on shortwave tends to be
reasonably well-known, the market just isn't that large.

Things that one /might/ consider underestimated, in random order:
* KA1101
* FRG-100B
* AR3030
* ATS-808(A)
* Some boatanchors
* importance of antennas
* importance of operator experience

*Overrated* gear is less hard to find.
