s9 in southern California at 17:40 utc.
Language unknown with occasional German
sound bites. And the upper sideband is being
stomped on by what appears to be a stronger DRM
signal centered on 9800.

I don't think that Deutsche Welle, Sri Lanka is using the frequency at 1740. BBC
perhaps in the Urdu language via Singapore.
