I did this myself for the large signal strength meter on the RX340. The blue LEDs looked cool but was just too intense a coloration for me. I went with the white LEDs that have a blue tint to them and found it much more pleasing. I just soldered the leads together, three in series with a voltage dropping resistor to limit the current. All you have to do is take some fine sandpaper to scuff up the LED case to disperse the light. -- Telamon Ventura, California |
