Sony AN-1 Adaptive Antenna

I've had this for a long while and left it unused. Unfortunately when
I came to use the amplifier again it appears that the caps have dried
out and it is pulling so much current (and not working!) that the
batteries were getting hot. I renewed all 4 caps but it is still the
same.

Does anyone have the schematic for this? Or perhaps does anyone have a
working one they want to sell?

I have an AN-1 leftover. I dont have the Am thingy anymore unfortunally,
and the set of plugs that came with it, but otherwise its in excellent
condition. If you make a decent offer I'm willing to consider to sell it.

If you want I can photograph it all around if you like to see it.

Its my backup antenne right now :)

BTW, I live in the Netherlands.

Thanks for this kind offer. I have the aerial and all the cabling /
connectors. I don't think the problem is with those. What I need is
another amplifier module - mine is a little black box about 2.5cm x
8cm x 13cm, holding 6 AA batteries. On the bootom it says "Wide Range
Antenna". I presume that this is the bit you don't have now.

Thanks anyway.

BFN.

Yes I do have that. Without it it wont be much use as a backup antenna ;)

The AM thingy I mentioned was a small black L shaped box you needed to
put on your receiver or near it if your receiver did not have an input
for the AM range.

If you make me a decent offer I'm willing to sell it to you, becuase as
I said, its a leftover/backup antenna for me now.

You can reach me directly at jeroen$AT$peatfreak.com
Replace &AT& with the other thingy ofcourse ;)
