Tune to 830 and 850. If you hear pink noise 840 is digital. The data
is in both sidebands, 180 degrees out of phase with the other
sideband. This cancels the noise in a regular detector but can reek
havoc on sync detectors.

If it's digital you'll be able to hear the digital if you use LSB or
USB only. I can't use my SW2 sync detector on HD stations.

LOL - you need a $500+ communicatiuons receiver with a sych detector or SSB
to listen to the digital signal from radio stations a few miles away?
Jeeves, years ago I could decode digital RTTY and FAX from stations
thousands of miles away with a Sony portable - bwaHAHAHAHA!
