I was born on November 5,1941,that means I am 65 years old.Bobby Pickett
was 69 years old when he passed away.Korean War (U.S.Military Korean
Police Action) was from June 25,1950,Cease Fire (we are still
(technically) at ''War'' with North Korea) was on July 27,1953.I was 8
years old when the Korean War started.Bobby Pickett was either 9 or ten
years old,depending on when he was born.(I haven't looked that up yet)
Was the U.S.Army accepting Recruits at those ages wayyyy back then?
The way things are going nowdays,I half a.s expect that! to happen any
day now.

Cuhulin,

1950 to 1954 - Had Friends and Co-Workers who were in the First Wave
of US Troops Out-of-Japan when the Korean War broke-out. Spent the
short trip over in the Ship cleaning newly issued Weapons.

1950 to 2007 - Also have Friends and Co-Workers who were part of the
UN Peace Keeping Force that has been there ever since.

The sources only stated that Bobby Pickett was a Veteran and had been
to Korean. Nothing said that he actually fought in the Korean War
during the 1950s.
