DXing Hawaii AM/MW BCB Radio Stations

Hi!

Thanks for all of the references to look up stations from the islands. I
have a small list of stations from Hawaii but will certainly look up the
ones with at least 10kw or higher to see if I can receive one.

Hi,

Just wondering if any particular Hawaiian AM BCB station(s) has a good
signal on the west coast. I've tried to listened to some but no luck.

Jeff,

Here is the FCC AM/MW Radio Station Listing for Hawaii
HAWAII AM RADIO = http://tinyurl.com/2kxkzw

I would focus on those AM/MW Radio Stations with a
Broadcast Power of 10 KW or more and Frequencies
under 1100 kHz : 620, 650, 670, 690, 760, 830, 870*,
880, 920, 940, 1010*, and 1040 kHz .

NOTE - If on your current AM/FM Shortwave Radio
and Antenna you can not hear WWVH from Hawaii
{The Time Signal done in s Female Voice} then most
likely you will not hear any Hawaiian Radio Stations.

Try 5 kHz; 10 kHz; and 15 kHz to see if you can hear
her from Kokole Point on the Island of Kauai in Hawaii.

TIP - Build a Big Box AM/MW Loop Antenna and
Point-and-Tune it for your Hawaiian Target Radio
Stations. Try a Sports AM/MW Loop Antenna
