Right... Remember the Degen 1108, after all...the grand champion of
Chinese vaporware receivers. Oh, the rumours that abounded on that
radio. If the KA1121 is the basis of all the rumors of the dream-
portable '1108, then, well, it certainly fell short of all that
expected capabilities that were being discussed in this and other
fora.

I am anticipating an RP3000 price that is 1.5 to 2 times more than the RP2100. So the RP2100 is available for US $100 shipped, and I hope for a price below US $200 shipped for the RP3000. Besides the features you suggested, early photos of the RP3000 also showed controls for numeric frequency entry.
