Can a working copy of the drm software be downloaded
I can find what looks like construction project.. but is there a
working version anywhere ? or will the ham version take hf broadcast signals ? G .. |

Tnx G.. You need to down convert the 12 kHz width of the transmitted signal down to 0 to 12 kHz for input to your sound card. It won't work with the receiver in AM mode. An AM detector destroys a drm signal. SSB mode would work if the SSB receive bandwidth were 12 kHz. I've never seen an SSB receiver with 12 kHz bandwidth other than the TenTec RX-320D or similar SDRs. I don't know about Sony, Degan, Sangean, etc. receivers but I doubt they can do it. Yes. Sounds right to me. The -6 kHz bfo setting is more likely to be correct than +6 kHz. With -6 kHz the lowest RF frequency is converted to the lowest audio frequency. +6 kHz would invert that. , the audio bandwith is a littlw over 11 khz , looking of spectrumlab , so it should handle the signal as 'audio' So 20 kHz is the IF width and 11 kHz is the audio width? I hope the drm demodulator doesn't miss that last kHz. There is a fair possibility it won't. Terrry- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - Well not a beep I can see the converted audio spectrum 0 11/12 Khz on the screen , lots of flashing red , sometimes yellow , inicators on the traffic lighs , but never a full set of green ones .. tried all the sig's i can pick up , maine ones round 6 mhz .... looks like maybe the audio needs to be centered round 12 khz and not zero to 12 ? .... if your running one of these 'add on' if convertors , where is the main bulk of the audio signal , when you view the 'spectrum display' center or biased to the left ...? As the display gos upto over 20 khz , i suspect , the audio must be centered round the middle , ie 12khz , in which case, it will not be posible to use the rx , as is, however it dose have a 455khz if outlet .. next step get one of these little down convertors ... any good link's Tnx .
