Yep. Cuba airs most if not all of Venezuela's stuff nowadays. I
presume that it was cheaper for Hugo to use Uncle Fidel's resources to
broadcast than to maintain a tx on Venezuelan soil. Hugo still hasn't
gotten the idea that if you want to broadcast propaganda to America,
it needs to be in ENGLISH. Having RHC put in a good word for you isn't
the same as airing your own stuff, even if it is on Cuba's dime.

I suspect that if Hugo started offering asylum to American murderers
the way Fidel does that he'd get some willing announcers. Even so, no
Americans have fled to Cuba in 20 years; on the weekends RHC puts on
guys with truly atrocious Ingles. The days of flying a plane to Cuba
and hiding out are gone. It never occurs to guys who could really use
it, like the guy in Reno who killed his wife and then tried to kill
the judge who'd ruled in her favor. He fled to Puerto Vallarta, not
Havana. The Mexicans shipped him right back. The last person who
wanted to go to Cuba was a school shooter 10 years ago, and he only
got to the parking lot.

It occurs to me that maybe Hugo is really trying to spread propaganda
to the Cubans...? Or to the growing Spanish-speaking pops in the
U.S.? Just a hypothesis...

BpnJ,

HUGO like FIDEL likes to Live Larger Than Life
in the Public's Eye.! - He may be good for
Venezuela and much of Central and South
America along with the Caribbean -but- it is
questionable 'if' his is good for the USA ?

Some people see HUGO as Fidel . . .
with Oil Money to $pend.

time will tell ~ RHF
