Functions of the { New ? } Redsun RP 3000 Radio with AM
Sync Detector and it looks like a lot more... {Specifications}

Given the 290mm X 185mm X 70mm size it is a
'portable' Radio (11.42" W - 7.28" H - 2.76" D).

One way or another, there does seem to be a new sync-equipped portable
on the horizon.

According to an editor comment on the PWBR website, "We're testing a
new portable with sync, and it's yet another flawed attempt."

=IMHO=

The Grundig Satellit 800 Millennium AM-Sync was OK and
better that the Icom IC-R75's AM-Sync after the Kiwa Mod.

The Eton E1 Radio's AM-Sync [DSB + Selectable USB & LSB]
was better than both of them; and better than the Sony AM-Syncs.

So the trick of the Chinese Radio Manufactures is to 'copy'
the Eton E1 Radio's AM-Sync and produce it in large numbers
of Radios to make AM-Sync a standard feature of many AM/FM
Shortwave Radios priced in the # 3 Level of Chinese made Radios
Low Price Level # 1 : $15 ~ $45 USD
Moderate Price Level # 2 : $50 ~ $150 USD
High Price Level # 3 : $160 ~ $480 USD
Very High Price Level # 4 : Above ~ $500 USD
