Hopefully this isn't deemed too far off topic for this newsgroup. I am
looking to improve the AM-FM broadcast reception on my 1995 Chevrolet
Silverado pick-up. I have done some searching here for similar posts and
the ones that I have found refer to both Crutchfield and C Crane. I am
familiar with both companies, but I can't see any long range automobile
AM-FM antennas listed. Does anyone here have much experience with this?
Can I expect to vastly improve my AM-FM range with a better antenna or are
they all going to be pretty much alike?

J&D,

104" CB Whip Antenna mounted on the rear Bumper of
your pick-em-up-truck connected to your AM/FM Radio.

All these other standard size AM/FM Automobile
Antennas with Spring Base Coils and Coils at the
Top of the Whip Antenna do nothing. It is the basic
Whip Antenna and the Body of your Automobile
that make your Car/Truck a very good Receiver.

Can't change the Automobile but you can change
the Whip Antenna. The 104" CB Whip Antenna
adds Size and Capture Area to your Car/Trucks
Boby and that will usually get your better AM/FM
Radio Reception in Suburban and Rural Areas.

hope this helps ~ RHF
