Tecsun 1994 limited edition
 

Tecsun released a limited commemorative radio - "Model 1994" three
weeks ago, pictures are available on Tescun website:

This model is mainly made for Tecsun internal staff, one hundred sets
were available on Tecsun BBS for radio fans. After they receive it,
majority of buyers are very satisfied with the sound of 1994. Some
people missed the chance to buy one, they became upset and vent their
frustration on Tecsun BBS. The BBS was hacked yesterday, no one knows
if this is linked to the 1994 issue but a lot of people suspect this
is the case.

Tecsun has restored part of the BBS database, it is trying to make
more 1994 available on the BBS, by reducing supply to its internal
staff.

The Tecsun model 1994 is an OEM model of VAL R-301S with a vintage
style and very good sound, you can find more information about this
radio in the Yahoo VAL group
