LYQ Non Directional Beacon is again on the air tonight testing: 529 KHZ Just below the AM broadcast band. You will hear the morse code ident L Y Q Please post your reception reports here along with your QTH Let's try to make this fun : We will be QSL'ing the beacon Please visit the WWRB shortwave web site at www.wwrb.org The beacon is located here at the WWRB Shortwave transmitter facility. Co-located with our Private airport ROSEANNE FAA ID: 43TN The beacon is located in Morrison,TN about 45 miles south east of Nashville,TN On our web site www.wwrb.org we have photos of the station check it out! Thanks Dave WA4SZE I am receiving the LYQ beacon on 529 khZ in Central Florida tonight fairly strong on a true crystal radio- no amps or anything except the diode. I picked up the LYQ NDB by mistake on the AM radio on a drive to Maggie Valley NC, had to listen to the code a few times to figure out the letters. But it sounds great over here in Maggie Valley
