With the advent of 24/7 AM/MW "HD" Radio good old
AM/MW Radio Listeners may be faced with a need
for Media Migration : {Fleeing IBOC Digital Hash}

They have two basic choices :

1 - XM & Sirius Satellite Radio
+ Great Variety with many more Choices then Over-the-Air Radio.
+ Stand-Alone Devices "Radios"
- Requires a Separate Subscription - Month/Annual Fee
- Relatively Small Subscriber Base {Listeners}

2 - Internet "Web-Radio"
+ Great Variety with many more Choices then Over-the-Air Radio.
+ No New Fees since many already are paying for Internet
Services.
+ No New Separate Subscription for 'basic' Over-the-Net {Free} Radio
+ Relatively Large Internet Subscriber Base {Listeners}
- Premimum Web-Radio will Require a Separate Subscription
Month/Annual Fee
+/- Use the Home PC as the Audio Out-Put Device.
Note - Need separate Stand-A-Lone "Web-Radio" that does
not need the Home PC to be 'On' to Work and WiFi Free

* AC Power Cord & Plug-in -or- Batteries {Power}
* Telephone Cord & Plug-in {Web-Radio Signal}

* It's Got To Look 'like' A Radio {Toaster}
