I have to say that last night reception was the best i've had in many
many months. Caught voice of russia here in los angeles loud and
clear, along with tons of others. Things might be improving!

Conditions on SW were also very good for me on the East Coast.

With AM IBOC destroying the AM band, I have thought about getting back
into SWL - is there much worth listening to, versus back in the
1960's / 1970's ?

i like voice of russia, radio netherlands, nhk japan, i can catch a
fair amount of BBC directed to africa, CRI china is great.

It depends on what you want to listen to. There's less political
propaganda and more religion. If you like utilities, there's tons of
stuff.

It depends on what you want to listen to. There's less political

what are your favorite utilities?

That's a tough one. Probably Coast Guard comms.

Medium wave was good last night as well. A taste of winter in the
