follow Canada'a suit.

It's already authorized in Brazil and the Philippines; Mexico authorized it
in the strip along the US border, too.

Doesn't mean they willll eventually use it - I heard tha Mexico is
positioning to jam the US back. Either way, no one, just like in the
US, is going to buy new HD radios.

Rede Globo in Brazil is installing dozens of stations, as is the
Chateaubriand Group, both AM and FM. Mexican border stations are already on.

The only pamphlet is (was?) one that warns border crossers of the hazards of
doing so. They know people are going to do it, so they are giving them some
precautions, not instruction.

Mexico does not provide water and food. Many US humanitarian organizations
do that, on the US side, with water stations that are replenished often.
This is to prevent people who are already there from dying... again, knowing
they will come no matter what.

Mexico has no national policy of encouraging migration. What Mexico has is
an unsustainable rural economy based on the ejido system that forces people
to migrate either to big cities of Mexico or to the US.

'Eduardo', you're full of BS!

I hear that due to his mass leakage of BS onto this ng he is no loner
full of it.

Humane would be if Mexico focused on their national interests
(schools, business etc) so their citizens did not feel it necessary to
illegally cross a border. Perhaps though those of us in this
newsgroup should set up a printing business and bid way cheap on
printing their booklet and change the content so they are directed to
only come to the US when on their way to Canada.

Of course, the last I heard a Canadian official was complaining of an
influx of Latino immigrants and he blamed the US for it - his claim
was that the US crackdown (which we all know are primarily for show)
on illegals is forcing them to Canada. He further went on to complain
how these folks are not desired immigrants due to lower education &
skills than than what would benefit their nation. Maybe instead of a
fence we should just build a bigass bridge from the southern to the
northern border.

Have you noticed that there is always a cataclysmic reason for the

AM HD is the last hope of AM Radio. Without it, it can't survive.

Illegal immigration is the last hope of a people forced to live in an
unsustainable economy.

All rights and privileges are the last hope of immigrants illegally
coming to this country forced to live amongst us.

No, it is an option. Most of those displaced by the collapse of the ejido
system (when the communal land does not "grow" and the population does) go
to larger cities in Mexico. But as long as there is little enforcement in
the US and lots of jobs, emigration will be one of the options taken by the
young, mostly.

This happens all over... there are a million illegal Bolivians in
