If you feel civilization does not work then no matter what anybody shows you - you yourself are as lost a cause as the civilization you comment on. Ever try Prozac?? |

I take a small SSRI every night, as well. But that has nothing to do with the failure of civilization. Perhaps if you did not see civilization as having failed your spirits would be higher and not feel the need for the SSRI. Most SSRI's carry with them side effects that are not good for the very same psyche they are trying to help: eg. weight gain is common and being heavy can lead to depression which is what the SSRI is trying to abate; also SSRI's can cause ED issues which again contribute to depression and the goal of the SSRI is abate depression. David, you seem to be caught in an endless spiral that is detrimental to your mental well being. My suggestion is to ween yourself from the SSRI's, stick to smoking a joint in the evening as opposed to drinking a martini and realize that the world just isn't what most of us think it should be. Concentrate on making your little corner of it better and give up on converting members of this newsgroup to your point of view. Oh - you still have my and I'm sure most folks - permission to pick on Edweenie. |

Get off the recreational drugs and if that drug pusher you have for a doctor has been prescribing the SSNRI for more than 6 months then dumb him and get someone that will actually help you. Oh - you still have my and I'm sure most folks - permission to pick on Edweenie. The SSRI is not for depression. I am losing weight. A joint is way too much pot. I quit drinking 8 years ago. As an anarchoprimitivist I could not be happier with the direction the world is taking. My little corner rules! I ask NO ONE! (...for permission to diss Dwardo.) |
