Poland/Polish Radio over shortwave in USA?
 

Hello.

I am a total n00b, just got a shortwave radio.

Can I catch any radio from Poland, or polish radio in the USA?
I am in the Chicago area of the USA.

What freq. would I look for?

I appreciate any help, advise. I apologize for a newbie question.

Polka Show will be on there this evening.

CBC Radio {Canada} produces a special 'Overnight'
service made up of many of the Programs from the
"World Radio Network" (WRN) partners.
Frequency : 6160 kHz

The current "CBC Radio Overnight" Program Schedule is:
Weekday Schedule (Monday mornings to Friday mornings)
4:30 A.M. Radio Polonia

This assumes that you want Polish-language radio, not
radio from Poland.

CBCOvernight has English radio from Poland,
and the various European groupings (see Czech
and R. Netherlands) have magazine compilations.

You can hear Polish Radio in Chicago on the Public Radio overhight
service of CPR (WBEZ plus its relays) and also on some other stations
in the area.
