Not, no Bush, that Musharraf dude over there in Pakistan.

I just love getting folks all riled up.

Does Pakistan have any presence on the SW? I don't recall that I've
ever heard them.

Last I heard them was on March 5, 2006 on 11570 at 1600 s/on in English.
That broadcast is directed to North Africa. EiBi (A07) still shows that
frequency along with 9380, also 11550 is directed to East Africa at the same
time.

It's a 15 minute news bulletin that runs 1600-1615.

The B07 EiBi sked is not yet out, but you might check http://www.dxasia.info/
and look at the Pakistan regional and external services listings which now shows
four frequencies in use at that time and a few changes from A07.

Good luck,

Wonder what their take on this is, as Musharraf acted, he says, to
thwart the Islamists in Pakistan. VOIRI may be parroting the anti-
Musharraf line. I think I just missed the NA broadcast, but it
wouldn't work out well with the radio next to the computer anyway.

Makes one recall, fondly, Radio Tirana. They hated everyone.

Thanks for the replies. Keep 'em coming. The leaves are chaning here
in our nation's capital.

What really amazes me is that there is an English language Wikipedia
entry for Radio Televizioni Shqiptar. Those boys think of everything.

BL,

To 'Get Your Message Out' : You Must "Get Your Message Out !"

For many -if- It is not on the Internet - It Does Not Exist [.]
- - - Thus most Shortwave Radio Broadcasters have an Internet
Portal {WebSite} and Streaming Audio and PodCasts for
Listener's {Viewers} to : Have It Their Way - On Their Time.

Do a Google Search on :
* Radio Albania / Albania Radio
* TV Albania / Albania TV
* "Radio Tirana"
* Shortwave Albania / Albania Shortwave
* Tirana Albania / Albania Tirana
- - - What's In The Top 10 ? {Be Three Or Be Missed/Unknown}

"WikiPedia" can be an Internet Gateway-to-Discovery
that has more 'structure' and 'narrative cohesion' than
a simple List generated from a Search Engine.
