I had thought about a transceiver however I'm in a condo and a proper
antenna for transmitting (let alone receiving) is problematic. However, as you are a ham, why not get a Drake TR-7 transceiver? Very good SWL receiver (1.5-30 MHz continuous and 0-1.5 MHz with AUX-7 board) and you can use it for transmitting too. They seem to be in the $450-$650 range. |
