New to SW... first antenna ???
 

I just picked up RS300 at garage sale and i want to hear SW...
Is this radio any good for SW ?
what kind of antenna should i put up today to try it out ?? just a
piece of wire out the window, or something worth while?

That should have been DX300 sorry
Can i use plastic insulated wire or does it need to be bare copper for
antenna ??

Either insulated or bare wire will work fine. Try to get it to a tree as
