CC Radio Shortwave - How is It?
I was on the CC Crane site and noticed they have a CC Radio with shortwave. Does any one have this radio yet? My brother has a regular CC Radio and I was thinking of getting him a new one for Christmas. But now saw this new CC Radio shortwave. If any of you have it or have heard anything about it - how is it? How is the audio when listening to talk stations on AM? Is the sound comparable to the regular CC Radio? How is the AM reception? How if FM and shortwave reception? Thanks! |

I have the Redsun RP2100 which is the same as the CC Crane SW. It's MW AM band and FM reception is the best I have ever experienced. See: http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/6055 It is also the same as the Kaito KA2100 which is an absolute bargain for $90 at: http://www.universal-radio.com/catal...able/2100.html Have fun and good listening On Dec 12, 10:05 am, "Von Fourche" wrote: I was on the CC Crane site and noticed they have a CC Radio with shortwave. Crane replaces the ferrite antenna with a better set of two (twin ferrite
antennas), that is said to offer significant improvement in reception. Whether it's worth the extra $ is a matter of opinion, of course. "Von Fourche" wrote in message ... wrote in message ... A great receiver for the price. |

No, they are the same radio's, just different badges.
