I think you can blame this move on noisy computers and metal-framed buildings. No AM station can get a clean signal into a modern office building unless it's pretty much next door. (the TV station I work for had to put a 50-foot wire antenna on the roof to receive WSM 650 for EAS purposes. WSM is of course 50,000 watts and only about ten miles away.) Why didn't you use something like a Stoner DA-100 for the EAS antenna? |
