(OT) Clean up and get rid of junk time.

y'all wouldn't believe my back yard, it is a genuine MESS.The city of
Jackson is sending certified snail mail letters to a lot of people all
over town, they sent me one.I have GOT to get rid of a lot of junk, I
have GOT to tear down my big old delapidated shed in my back yard and
get that hauled off.I have GOT to cut and trim bushes, small trees,
vines etc.I have a LOT of things I have GOT to do.I started working on
it this morning.I am not as young and spry as I used to be and my feet
hurt.I get out there and work for a couple of hours and the heat beats
me down and then I come back in and cool off for an hour or so.Wish me
luck y'all.I am heading back outside (again) right now.
At this rate, it's going to take me a month to do the things I have GOT
to do, and it's hot weather over here too.

Good luck, Cuhulin. In a way, I can relate.

I sympathise. I got a 1/2 acre lot. Almost wore out keeping up. Hired
a guy to do it for me. Trim a 120 foot cedar hedge 30 feet tall (hope
he has good stilts) cut the grass once a week in summer, ferilize and
weed spray (bug spray too-not too environmentaly hot, eh?) Trim around
flower beds, trim multiple small shrubs and clean out Autumn mess
(leaves, mostly) stain wooden deck and fences, as needed ...etc. etc.
PHEW, it tires me out just thinking about it ....
I guess us old guys (79) just can't handle all that work that used to
be fun to do.
Hang in there and keep smiling ...

(OT) Clean up and get rid of junk time.

I am taking another little break again, watching some news on tv.About
6:30 PM pm this evening, I am going to bag up a lot of old weeds and
junk and put that stuff out front for the garbage truck to pick up
tomorrow morning.Garbage pick up days here are on Tuesdays and Fridays.

In bold letters that the letter of the city of Jackson sent me, it
says,,,,
Cutting of grass and weeds & removing of trash and debris, remove
trailer, (I own an old tandem axel factory built trailer. It is sitting
in my driveway, full of junk that I will put out front for the garbage
pick up crew. Then I am going to get a buddy to back my trailer (I dont
know how to back up a trailer, even though I do know about steering the
steering wheel in the opposite direction of where the trailer is suppose
to be going) around to my back yard for me.Then when I get done with the
other things the city says I HAVE to do.I am going to enclose my (twelve
feet long by seven feet eight inches long, the lenght not including the
trailer tongue) trailer and use it for a storage shed) tires, piles of
debris, car parts, furniture, concrete, bushes, clean off front porch,
etc...

Car parts, other than my 1914 Ford Model T car and my 1978 Dodge van, (I
have to keep my van or how else can I go to the food store and the
discount tobacco store and the Animal Health Products for doggy's Pro
Pac dog food?) I also own a completely worn out 1948 Willys Jeep.A few
months ago, a buddy of mine said a buddy of his will give me $1,440.00
for my old Jeep.I only paid $300.00 for my old Jeep.I will never get
around to restoring the Jeep, I am too fat to fit behind the steering
wheel anyway, I will sell my Jeep.I also own a 1926 Ford Model T
chassis, the frame with the engine/transmission unit and front and rear
axels.I bought it for $250.00 back in the 1970s from a guy in
Monticello,Mississippi. His wife was going to have another baby.I will
sell my old Ford Model T chassis too.

My 1960s four cylinder Mercedes Benz diesel engine I bought for $350.00
from J.C.Whitney company back in the 1970s, I will sell it too.One of
those divorced women's boyfriends showed up next door to me yesterday,
he and she work off shore for Shell. He said he knows a guy in Indiana
who likes old Mercedes Benz cars and engines and parts. He said the guy
in Indiana drives through Jackson sometimes going to wherever. He is
going to tell the Indiana guy I have an old Mercedes Benz four cylinder
engine for sale.

Clean off my front porch,,, what is sitting on my front porch right now
is a big antique Railroad Depot heater and a red cedar bench seat that
Thomas Burnside gave me for free years ago and I have two antique chairs
sitting on my front porch too.

I have a hell of a LOT of work and things to do about my back yard and
getting rid of a LOT of things.I have untill June 3,2008 to get all of
that stuff done, then maybe the Communist Fascist Nazi city of
Jackson,Mississippi might (I say, MIGHT) lay off of me for a while.I
think I can get most of that done that I HAVE to do by June 3,2008.If
(IF) they see I am hitting at it every day, they MIGHT grant me a little
more time.Lawdy Mercy, have mercy on me.
