You'll note also that they contribute nothing else to this group.

Other than to periodically autopost stuff from their own group that
has nothing to do with this group, and which nobody here is the least
bit interested in. I've tried pointing that out to them, but one may
as well talk to the wall.

My recommendation is to do what I did - killfile them.
