Radio Shack closed out their branded version of this radio a few years ago for under $150. I bought one, kept it a year or so, and resold it on Ebay for a little profit. Can't believe the Sangean version is currently selling in the $250 range. You got an awesome deal at $91! Yeah, and that's $91 in 2008 dollars which aren't worth much anyway. A good deal if he ever gets the radio. Art |

Passport to World Band Radio rates it pretty highly and gives it the "Editor's Choice" I own the Panasonic FR2200, the Sony 7600D also sold as the ICF2002, (bought the 7600D back in the eighties... still like brand new.. works great, certainly got my money's worth) ![]() E100, the Kaito KA1102 and KA11, and a couple other radios, and I like them all, but the Kaito KA1102 is probably my favorite right now for compactness in travel, and features. You might want to check it out.,.. Best regards.. |

Dear "Haci,"
Well, have you gotten the radio yet? If not, have you gotten any word on it? What about your payment? I think we'd all like to know. Best to you always, Haci It has to be used - there's not much to listen to on SW anymore. I wouldn't invest more that $25 in a SW radio, such as the Kaito WRX911. |
